References in Modules Considerable concern Business Technical Money saved by the AP developers may have to be spent by each implementor Implementors may have to purchase many standards Technical How to know the scope of a reference Where does the EXPRESS-G begin and end?
EXPRESS Amendment Barriers to implementation of modules A new version of EXPRESS has not yet been implemented by any tool kit vendors We cannot check your models TBD versions of Part 21, Part 28 and SDAI are not yet in the scope of any WG11 project We cannot make any data A new modeling technique allows EXPRESS entities to reference anything (Generic) We will not know what to implement Will we be harmonizing against 70+ modules instead of 3 AP’s. We cannot know if they all work together
