Where Are Grasslands ? Grasslands are in Africa, Australia, North America, South America, New Zealand and many other countries.

What Different Grasses Do Grasslands Have? Grasslands have tall grass, mixed grass, and the short grass portions. Tall grass grows in the eastern portion of the main west. Mixed grass grows in the middle of the main west. The short grass grows in the middle of the western portion.

What is a grassland? Grasslands are windy, grassy, sometimes dry. There are very few trees and shrubs in a grassland. In many lands grasslands separate forest from deserts. Grasslands get 10 to 30 inches of rain per year.
