8th Grade Two Point Perspective ________________ Street

Perspective A two point perspective drawing is a type of linear perspective. Linear perspective is a method using lines to create the illusion of space on a 2D surface. Two point perspective uses two vanishing points placed on the horizon line.

Procedure Practice drawing in two-point perspective Brainstorm, plan and sketch locations/buildings- they can be related to you personally or just be original buildings For example- if you love playing sports, a sports shop may be included in your city. Shops can be made up as well, but think about what kinds of buildings and places are found amongst cities Draw your city/street, implement color and design in final work. Remember to take care in your work! Craftsmanship is important for every artist. Be aware of your paper, your marks and your process.

Criteria for Success. Did you... Brainstorm, sketch and plan your piece? Use two-point perspective/ have two vanishing points? Take care in your work?- solid marks, crisp paper, no rough, bent edges, smudge marks etc.
