Schools Shouldn’t Teach Politically Controversial Topics Presented By: Nouf Almutlaq

Why are schools brainwashing our children Why are schools brainwashing our children? * How right it is for schools and teacher to be a part of such discussion and imparting a single point of view to their students ? Protesting oil pipelines and celebrating polygamy etc is a way of brainwashing Alarming situation for the parents who are concerned about the controversial views being taught in schools Offend some families and also a threat to the well being of these children.

Affect the learning environment Devastating for teacher’s career Teaching Controversial Issues in the Social Studies *How careful must they be while taking apart in such controversy? Controversial political topics cannot be avoided and they are part of the curriculum Cause disruption with in the classrooms causing conflict among students of different point of views Affect the learning environment Devastating for teacher’s career

Teachers being role models for their students inspire them Classroom Politics: Should Teachers Endorse a Candidate? *Does it really affect the minds of the students if their schools and teachers are endorsing certain political point of view and how do they affect their families? Teachers being role models for their students inspire them It will compel their students to have the same point of views They must not express their feelings for any political candidate or his opinions Schools are for education and learning

Any Questions?

Thank you!
