Who is going to pay for the various cost associated with the Summer Feeding Program? The USDA Summer Feeding Program will pay for the cost of the food and the salaries of the Summer Feeding employees. Federal Programs and Extended Day will pay for the transportation cost. Federal Programs will also pay for the majority of the cost of security. If there are additional cost not mentioned above, finance will make the determination of which program is reponsible.

Has all departments corresponded to insure that we have a smooth operation? We had an operational meeting two weeks ago at Dr. Wilson’s office, and will have a final meeting next Wednesay at 1:00 to make sure that all areas are covered. Dr. Wilson and his staff have done a fantastic job in making sure that all areas are staffed properly. The Summer Feeding Program will be a great example of what can be accomplished when all departments work together. It would not be possible without the vision of the Superintendent and the Board.
