Business Agreements: Placement

When to Use a Placement Agreement: Placement enterprises are often referred to as “work experience.” This type of agreement is used when students have either: Paid work experience Unpaid work experience (over 50 hours)

Completing the Agreement: SECTION 1: Used to identify the following items: Date the agreement is established Date that work is to begin Date that work is to end

Completing the Agreement: SECTION 1: To provide a basis of understanding and to promote sound business relationships, this written agreement is established on _____________, 20 ____. She will provide oversight as the assigned tasks are completed. Finally, Ms. Ramirez will provide monthly evaluations regarding my job performance.

I agree to have a positive attitude and to report any injuries immediately to my supervisor. I also agree to work with my fellow employees to ensure that the customers receive the best service possible.

Final Thoughts: The agreement is a legal document so it must be free of mistakes. To avoid making mistakes, make a copy of the blank agreement from your record book and fill out a practice copy first. After your teacher approves it, transfer all the information, in ink, to your record book. Get signatures, in ink, from each party involved.
