Building a Car

Blueprint A blue print is a 2-d drawing of an object.

Your task… With your assigned group, you will be using a blueprint to create a model car. All the materials you need are in the bucket at your table. Work together to figure out which pieces go where, and how to make the best car possible.

Think about this… Was this car easy to build with a blueprint? How hard/easy would it have been if you did not have a blueprint? Who would use blueprints? Why are they necessary?

In your Science Notebook… Draw a sketch (technical drawing) in your notebook of the vehicle you put together. Label the different parts of your vehicle.
