Thursday- Book Exchange Mrs. Beck’s News from Rm 204 May 25, 2016 May 27th- Parent-Principal Coffee Chat June 10th- Last Day of School! May 30th- No School (Memorial Day) June 4th- Spring Fair The students are working on data analysis over the next few weeks. We are discussing the different kinds of graphs we can use to display and organize information. Also, we are discussing how to create and read each type of graph. The students are creating their own bar graphs, pictographs, and line plots. We are continuing to discuss the different text structures in reading and their importance. Our last spelling test for the year will be on Friday, May 27. We will use the next two weeks to catch up on reading and writing that needs to be finished before the end of the year In Social Studies, we are learning the Lancaster County Government. We are discussing what the government does, who the leaders are, and why we need to follow the rules and laws to keep everyone safe. THANK YOU!!! Thank you for a wonderful field trip to Hershey. The students had an excellent time and have been learning so much. It was a long day, but everyone did a fantastic job. Thank you to those that were able to volunteer your time to help us out. Monday- Art Tuesday- Library Wednesday- Music Thursday- Book Exchange Friday- Gym We are finishing up our animal research reports. We will be sharing them with the class over the next few weeks. We will also be working on an opinion writing on your child’s favorite part of the school day.
