LA Morning Work Sculptor Gutzon Borglum was born in 1871. He is best known for carving the national memorial Mount Rushmore. He sculpted the busts of Presidents George Washington, Theodore Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln in the granite slopes of the Black Hills of South Dakota. What is a sculptor? A new sculptor is deciding on heads to be carved in a new monument. Who do YOU think should be included? WHY???
