Chapter 12 Ordinary People Dean

Quiz 1.Conrad quite the swim team. 2.Conrad told his mom and dad that he left the swim team. 3.Lazenby thinks that there is something wrong with Conrad. 4.Conrad confesses to Dr.Berger about what he told his parents. 5.Jeannie and Conrad have many things in common.

Summary of chapter 12 Conrad does other stuff now that he has free time and does not have to go to swim practice. He still has not told his parents, so he studies and does other stuff around town. Lazenby is worried about Conrad, and Conrad tells him that he left the swim team because he was bored of it.

Quote “Maybe you gotta feel lousy sometime, in order to feel better. A little advice, kiddo, about feeling. Don't think too much about it. And don't expect it always to tickle.” This is what Berger leaves off with, with Conrad and its telling him to stop thinking so much.

How has he changed? Conrad has changed because he now has time after school that he used to have for swim practice.
