Property Demographics 271 apartments 671 individuals 37% male 63% female 170 households with children ages 0 to 18 360 kids under age of 18 189 - 0 to 6 years old 77 - 7 to 10 years old 94 - 11 to 18 years old 161 single parent households 145 - single mother households 16 - single father households Envision Comanche

Resident Needs Assessment Update 103 completed surveys (representing 49% of occupied units) 73% female/27% male; 86% single or divorced 66% of respondents between ages of 25-44 75% reported having at least 1 individual under the age of 18 in the home 72% of respondents reported educational level of high school diploma or lower 45% reported as unemployed, with additional 19% disabled, and 16% actively looking for employment 49% reported having always lived in North Tulsa, with 88% of all respondents living in Comanche Park for 5 years or less Envision Comanche

Resident Needs Assessment Update People, quiet and affordability were top listed items that people liked by Comanche Park currently Crime and more opportunities for kids were top items listed for what people want to see changed most about Comanche Park Transportation was listed as the primary barrier impacting daily life 61% reported not having a drivable car 53% stated transportation as barrier to social services 60% stated transportation as barrier to financial services 81% stated transportation as barrier to obtaining and keeping employment 59% stated transportation as barrier to accessing healthcare 51% stated transportation as reason for not attending meetings or events at schools 40% stated transportation as reason for middle schoolers not taking part in after-school programming New Parks, Grocery Store, Updated Street and Lighting Improvements, and Play Areas were listed as the Most Important Neighborhood Improvements. Resident Needs Assessment Update – Early Learning 62% stated their children, ages 0-5, did not attend a daycare or pre-school Of those with kids in daycare, 43% stated the school was not located in the neighborhood Availability (69%) and Location (47%) were top reasons the daycare was chosen Availability (69%) and Transportation (47%) were top barriers to accessing childcare Envision Comanche

Resident Needs Assessment Update – Elementary School 40% stated that had at least one child in Elementary School 56% stated children attended Walt Whitman, followed by Hawthorne (6%) 62% described quality of Elementary school as Good or Very Good 45% stated they often attended events at school, with 60% communicating with teacher often, but only 18% volunteering at the school; with transportation (50%) and time conflicts being the biggest barriers 65% stated their child does not attend after school programming Of those that attend after-school programming, 83% of such programs are located at the school Availability (66%) and Transportation (38%) were top barriers to accessing after-school programming Envision Comanche

Resident Needs Assessment Update – Middle School 23% stated they had at least one child in Middle School 42% stated children attended McLain, followed by Other (52%) 89% described quality of Middle school as at least Good or Better 28% stated they often attended events at school, with 52% communicating with teacher often, but only 15% volunteering at the school, with transportation (30%), being unaware of events (30%) and time conflicts (30%) being the biggest barriers 61% stated their child does not attend after school programming Of those that attend after-school programming, 42% of such programs are located at the school Availability (40%) and Transportation (40%) were top barriers to accessing after-school programming Envision Comanche

Washington (12%) 41% reported high schooler getting to school via Public Transportation; followed by walking (23%) 52% described quality of school as excellent, followed by 29% describing it as fair 43% stated they often attended events at school, with 68% communicating with teacher often, but only 20% volunteering at the school, with transportation (56%), and time conflicts (37%) being the biggest barriers 86% stated their child does not attend after school programming Of those that attend after-school programming, 75% of such programs are located at the school, with sports (75%) being the largest after-school activity Availability (60%) and Quality (40%) were top barriers to accessing after-school programming 8% stated high schooler held a job outside of school Envision Comanche

Resident Needs Assessment Update – Adult Learning 12% of adult respondents stated they were currently attending school, with 32% of those attending taking GED courses, followed by 13% seeking an Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, and 3% attending a Trade School 90% stated Music and Arts Programs, College Prep, GED courses, and Financial Aid Services were needed programs in the community Envision Comanche
