Project #2: Modern Music History Select one of the following: Read the article “How America Changed the Beatles”. Highlight the most important information as you read. Then, write a summary (at least 3 paragraphs) of the article. Select one musician or musical act (band) from 1950s - present. Write an imaginary interview with the musician(s), in which you work for a magazine or website related to the music industry (for example, Rolling Stone). You must ask and answer at least 12 questions with thoughtful answers (not “yes” or “no”), and you must present important information about the musician (genre, musical influences, inspiration, future musical accomplishments, etc.) Create a tribute poster to a deceased musician from the 1950s era - present. You must include the musician’s name, birthdate and date of death, his/her major accomplishments in the music industry, at least one quote from the musician, and your artwork must be in full color.
