Barriers to Confident Behavior Fear – is a biological process where people secure energy to do a job that matters Phobia – is a persistent irrational fear that causes avoidance Stage Fright – a serious speaking problem that gets worse as we present, sometimes so severe that we would rather die the act. Performance Anxiety – the nervous tension experienced by athletics’, ballet dancers, and speakers (commonly associated with the word “butterflies” Communication Apprehension – is a fear of public speaking because we think others are judging us.
SELF ESTEEM – belief in who you are. Life Lesson – if you never try anything new then you can not achieve beyond the present, you might be able to say that you’ve never experienced failure, but you have also, not experience life.
