Presentation transcript:

Being called… Think about a time where you were called upon to do something difficult for someone else. What happened? How do we feel when we do our best? What keeps us from doing our best?

2. Holiness is belonging and including others p.38 (copy) When we feel like we belong, we are more likely to share our gifts and talents, reach out to others and give our best. This allows us to reach our full potential! clip

3. Holiness is being nourished and Nourishing Others. (copy) p.38 It's not always possible or good to depend only on ourselves. We must all rely on one another and on God. Giving and receiving nourishment allows us to reach our full potential! clip

Questions: Do you support others? How? Who supports you? (3 examples) How are we nourished? (5 examples) Do you know your real potential? Explain. Ninjago

4. Holiness is being Freed and Freeing Others (copy) When we accept the gift of freedom, we are accepting an invitation to start again in a new way, a way that allows us to turn away from sin and reach our full potential. Jesus offers us this gift in the form of forgiveness, and if we wish to be forgiven, we must also forgive others.

Question: Is there something in your life from which you need to turn, so that you can be free of its negative power over you? What is your idea of perfect freedom?
