At What Is Coming …. You will participate in labs ! You will witness awesome demonstrations! You will learn amazing amounts of info about the chemicals around you!

Only You Can Control Your Chemical Destiny.. Following directions is key Common sense always prevails If in doubt ……ASK FOR HELP! Self and peer control are musts

Protect Yourself! Don’t let this be you after our first lab ! Never touch materials with your hands unless directed to do so ! Never put any chemicals in your mouth or near your face !

What SHOULD You Do ? FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS Only work on authorized experiments Never horseplay anywhere in the room Keep a clean work area If in doubt ask for help !

I Wonder What To Wear ! No loose fitting clothing Tie back long hair No open toed shoes No dangling jewelry No synthetics when using heat No sunglasses No contact lenses

Safety First! Wear goggles when working with glass, heat or chemicals Check and recheck labels on chemicals Never return chemicals to the stock container Dispose of solid waste in trash or in designated container Clean up all spills quickly
