Annotated Bibliography

Directions: An annotated bibliography is a wonderful organizational tool for your sources and will become useful later as we continue to work on our research papers. To write an entry for an annotated bibliography, you will simply take one of your sources and put it in MLA works cited format. Then, underneath it, you will write a brief paragraph summarizing the contents of the source. For our class, we will go a step further and also, at the end of the paragraph, write a sentence or two describing how we believe this source will be useful to our research paper. Today, then, we will take the two sources we’ve brought with us and write annotated bibliography entries for each. Please save these entries because we will add to them as we build our larger annotated bibliography.
