Then, say what they should do to be safe Maddy is thirsty. She rinses a beaker with water, refills it with water, and takes a drink. The printed directions in the lab procedure tell a student to pour a small amount of hydrochloric acid into a beaker. Detrick puts on safety goggles, an apron, and gloves before pouring the acid into the beaker. Cassidy is wearing a baggy sweatshirt. Before starting her lab, she rolls up her sleeves.
