The Boogeyman – Stephen King

Questions Billings uses various derogatory terms for people in the story. Is this acceptable in modern day literature? What is Billings’ character like? Why is this? Who are the main characters in the story? ‘Just a crack’ is repeated frequently. Why is this? What happened to Billings’ Children? “It’s written all over you”-p2. What does this mean? How does he describe his child Andy’s neck breaking? –p7 What does Billings do straight afterwards? What happens at the very end of the story? Do you believe The Boogeyman is real in this story?
