Respond/react with your personal thoughts, ask questions, challenge the writer, make personal connections, etc. (See next slide for examples) Write a paragraph for each of these questions: What does the article say? Article of the Week Good Annotations: I’ve seen this happen before. I think the writer is being unfair here. Why would he do that? This reminds me of my brother’s personality. ALL students dislike studying. Bad Annotations: Agree IDK What? Yes! Dislike ??? Scary My mom
