Dependency Load And more !!!!

Fun facts There has not been a mail delivery in Canada on a Saturday for the last 35 years Africa is the second most populous continent with about 1.1 billion people or 16% of the world’s population. Over 50% of Africans are under the age of 25.

Different ages and Roles Children ( under 15 ) Working adults ( 15 to 65 ) Older Adults (65 and over ) The assumption is that children and older adults do not need to work and are supported by the working adults

Dependency load Dependency Load: the part of the population that is supported by the rest. a higher dependency load tends to put more pressure on the society to provide such things like Housing, healthcare, and seniors homes

Youthful population Advantage: provide a large and cheat future workforce. Provide a growing market for manufactured goods Disadvantages: put strain on healthcare and education system put strain on food supply and accommodations Solutions ?

Ageing Population Advantages: add experience to the workforce a construction boom and a new market opening “the grey market” more leisure and vacations Disadvantages: the cost of healthcare, pension, increase on sheltered home and more taxes on the smaller workforce Solutions?
