Week of: May 4 – May 8 We’ve Been Busy! A Look at Next Week… This week in our Phonetic Connections curriculum, we focused on the /q/ sound. We practiced rhyming words, segmenting/blending, and writing and reading CVC words. We spent the week studying insects: reading fiction and nonfiction texts, singing songs, and writing about insects! In math, we reviewed place value and practiced our kindergarten math skills to prepare for assessments. Thank you so much for the notes, flowers, and sweets this past week. You have really made this teacher feel appreciated! THANKS!
