The instructional day begins at 9am! We are so excited for the 2017-2018 school year here at Hale Cook! We look forward to partnering with you and your family to make this year successful!   PreK can start arriving at 7am if you enrolled in before/after care. PreK Parents must sign child in at the classroom. Other grades attending LINC can start arriving at 7am. Parents must sign their child in at the LINC table located inside the door off the lot on Jefferson. Grades K-5– the doors open at 8:40am. Students can go directly to their room or to breakfast in the café. The car rider line will be open for drop offs in the back. If you are walking your child inside please park in the lot. The streets at the front are getting too congested and dangerous. Most importantly, please communicate with your child’s teacher how they are going home on that first day. We want to make sure all students get home safely!!! Once your routine is set you will be required to email or let the teacher know in writing if your child is going home a new way. Prek must be signed out in the room at 4pm (unless utilizing after care). Please park in the lot on Jefferson and enter through the LINC door. LINC students must be signed out by a parent at the LINC table. Parent pick up – if you are coming inside please wait outside your child’s door until the teacher opens it. Students will be dismissed around 3:55. Car rider line- please complete the form that will be coming home on Monday for a car rider window tag. The car rider line forms down 74th and turns right onto Jefferson and then right into the parking lot. Do not come down Jefferson and try to turn left into the lot as it backs up the line. Also, the line may appear long but will move quickly after we have gotten used to the routines. Please be patient with us. Safety is our number one concern! The instructional day begins at 9am!

August 23 – “Parent Only” Open House   August 23 – “Parent Only” Open House We will have two identical sessions from 5:30-6:00 OR 6:15-6:45. This is not a come/go event. Each session will start/end on time. Come and hear from your child’s teacher about the school year. August 29 – PTA Come get involved! We would love to have ALL parents join us! September 4 - Labor Day Holiday - No School
