Cardiovascular Disease Interview By: Kristen Stewart

Cardiovascular Disease My grandfather has a cardiovascular disease called Atrial Fibrillation. It is an irregular or rapid heart rate.

How did he discover it? 8-9 years ago, my grandfather went in to donate blood. When the doctors were checking his heart, they found that he had a rapid heart beat.

Life with A-Fib Life with the disease is not hard. My grandfather has to take a blood thinner medicine to reduce his chances of having a stroke. he does not have to do anything fancy, but just going to the doctor every couple months for a check up.

Suggestions This disease is passed down through the family. Living a health life style could help, but since it is passed down through the family, it is hard not to get it.
