Monday, February 22 We have read a story about Snowflake Bentley. We will create a cake about his life. When and where was he born? What did he like to do as a young person? What did he do to make the world a better place? What information about him was interesting to you?

Friday, February 29 We will recall what a biography is. We will create a cake about ourselves. When and where were we born? What do we like to do in our spare time? What do we hope to do to make the world a better place? List some interesting facts about ourselves.

Monday, March 7-18 We will select and begin to read story that is a biography or an autobiography about a person who worked for a peaceful world. We will create a cake with the birthday, month and year. We will write a sentence that answers the question: How did my person make the world a better place?

April 8-29 We will present our information about our person of peace. We will show good listening skills and ask questions related to the information. We will speak clearly, show our cake, and show that we know about our person of peace
