Welcome Back! Guess who on an unnamed paper, answer the following:

Question 1 What is your favorite candy bar? Is it Hershey’s? Is it Peanut M & M’s? Is it Butterfingers? Is it Reese’s Cups? Is it Skittles?

Question 2 What is your favorite team sport? Is it field hockey? Is it synchronized swimming? Is it football? Is it basketball? Is it volleyball?

Question 3 What is your favorite leisure activity (after school & home chores are finished)?

Question 4 What was the favorite thing you did this past summer?

What is one thing you would like to learn this year in physics? Question 5 What is one thing you would like to learn this year in physics?

Extra Credit: Writing Activity on Summer Activities Write a paragraph (or more) on an encounter during the summer with any aspect of Physics (ie. results of going too fast on a vehicle or horse, with momentum carrying you in an unwanted direction), an experience you had with electricity or magnetism, work you did - remember work = distance x force, motor or mechanical repairs, centripetal forces, etc.) The paragraph (or more) must be at least 12 sentences long with definite introductory and ending sentences (but don’t just repeat something for the ending, give a summary or outcome). Due Tuesday, August 28th beginning of class. The paragraph should be typed and double spaced. You may submit a hard copy or email the file to: johannad@grps.k12.mt.us . The file name should be in this format: grade.lastname.firstinitial_phys.doc ie. 6.devries.j.summer_bio.doc Scoring (get 7/7 automatically-with a serious attempt): If these satisfactory, then +1, 2 or 3.
