Communism and Democracy Clash At the Potsdam Conference – Stalin refuses to hold open elections Stalin set up Satellite Nations countries that were dependent upon and dominated by the Soviet Union Stalin gives a speech saying communism and capitalism is incompatible and that another war is unavoidable Soviet Union concentrates on building weapons instead of consumer goods.
