What will I actually do? How much do you know about a specific job? What does a typical day look like? What type of skills are necessary for the job? Using computers? Leading others? Operating machinery? When will I work? Would I be on-call during the night? Will I have vacation days?

What About Education? How much education would I need? GED Associates Technical Four-year college degree Master’s degree PHD

Preparation What should I do to best prepare for a career area? What classes should I take in high school? What types of grades should I be getting? Will I be able to afford secondary schooling? Are there ways I can receive funding? Grants, Scholarships What skills will I need? Can I volunteer somewhere? Can I find a mentor?

Outlook and Wages Is this a growing (or decling) career area? Can I get a job in Indiana? Are there jobs in the United States? How much does this job pay? Does it provide benefits? Vacation days Health insurance
