Justification: All cells contain genetic information in the form of DNA, but are accessed differently because Use Justification 1, 2, and 3 from your notes. Evidence: Use the evidence presented (1.1 – 1.3) to justify the claim stated above.

Investigation Question: How are DNA molecules accessed differently in Eukaryotes versus Prokaryotes? Claim: All cells contain genetic information in the form of DNA. Eukaryotes have a nucleus where the chromosomes coil up the genes of DNA. Prokaryotes do not have a nucleus, but do have genes. Justification: All cells contain genetic information in the form of DNA, but are accessed differently because figure 1.1 shows that Eukaryotes and Prokaryotes have DNA in the form of chromosomes. In addition, figure 1.2 clearly shows Eukaryotes have a nucleus that contain coiled up chromosomes of DNA and prokaryotes do not have a nucleus, but do have DNA. Finally, figure 1.3 shows that the top picture are Eukaryotes because they clearly have a nucleus and the bottom picture are Prokaryotes because they have circular DNA without a nucleus.
