Mission Statement Our mission is simply to end world hunger. We will accomplish this by distributing clean water and food to those in need, providing nutrition, budget and sustainable living information to various communities around the world and by organizing trips to help alleviate any unnecessary suffering caused by hunger.

Fundraising Ideas Use Groupon for funds to be matched and to get the word out

Fundraising Ideas (Cont.) Host “Taste of SLC” event (all proceeds go to BitebyBite) $5 to get in (gives you 5 tickets) Participating restaurants serve small appetizers (1 ticket each) Cake walk – donated by bakeries Buy raffle ticket to participate (1 ticket per game – until someone wins) Silent Auction Band performing Food donation for tickets (1 item per ticket, 5 Top Ramen= 1 item)

Fundraising Ideas (Cont.) Partner with restaurants One (or more) item(s) on the menu will give a percentage of proceeds to BitebyBite. Restaurants will receive a window sticker and advertising via BitebyBite website. Restaurant of the month (gives 100% of selected menu item(s) proceeds to BitebyBite) Host bake sales at the University of Utah Sell varied baked goods for $1 each and give 100% of the proceeds to BitebyBite Possibly set up similar bake sales at Universities or Colleges around the US

Food Distribution All food given to Feeding America, for the time being. Eventually it will be directly given to those in need (across the world)

Nutrition, Budget & Sustainable Living Information Start out with classes held at local library: How to get your kids to eat healthier Incorporating nutrition on a dime’s budget Couponing 101 Setting up a more efficient grocery and monthly budget Growing a garden Growing crops that provide more nutrients (3rd world countries, where relevant) How to build a clean water well, or purify dirty water (3rd world countries, where relevant) Food and water storage for disasters or months with lower income

To Do Order Articles of Incorporation Write Bylaws Find lawyer to double check all legal documents Find web designer to build website Find salesmen to find restaurants to participate File an application packet for a non-profit organization with your state Secretary of State Get a Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) File with the Internal Revenue Service for recognition as a charitable organization Establish a board of directors and registered agent Get Bite by Bite trademarked Come up with Logo (and get copyrighted) Set up online presence (twitter acct, facebook, etc) Get others to endorse it Meet with other organizations for help
