Speaking Presentation Who? Level 3 Students When? Wednesday (April 27)

Speaking Guidelines Each person must speak for 4-5 minutes (ex: 3 members = 12-15 minutes total) You must have visuals (ex: PowerPoint, Prezi)

What am I looking for? Introduction Time Management 4-5 minutes Explain what your presentation is about 4-5 minutes Content Visual Aids Is the information good, organized and easy to understand? Do you have a powerpoint? Preparedness Fluency Are you ready? Did you practice? Speak clearly without too many “uhhs...” and “ahhhs” Pronunciation Grammar You know how to pronounce all new words Only few minor mistakes

Do’s Don’ts DO NOT READ! speak too fast and move around too much turn your back on your audience have too much information on the slide Use hard to read fonts and color Too many pictures Only Key Words Good Pictures Be clear. Simple is best! Make Eye Contact Check your spelling Practice!
