Unit Analysis For Food

What is Unit Analysis? Unit Analysis is a technique to solve math problems without using a formula. Very useful in chemistry and physics

How does Unit Analysis work? Unit analysis uses the units of conversion to set up a multiplication and/or division problem. Start with the given amount. Units in the numerator are multiplied. Units in the denominator are divided.

Practice Problem One A person eats 45 grams of fat. How many minutes will it take them to burn off the food if they burn 1.3 calories per minute.

Practice Problem Two A person eats 56 grams of protein. How many minutes will it take them to burn off the calories if they are using 4.5 calories per minute.

Practice Problem Three A person eats 23g of carbohydrates. How many hours will it take to burn off the calories if they burn 5.6 per minute?
