Box Tops Does anyone have a large pumpkin to donate for our Math/Science activity the week of Halloween? We only need four. Let me know if you can help that afternoon! It will be Wednesday afternoon of Halloween week. We will be carving pumpkins in groups, weighing them, testing if they will float, counting the lines, counting the seeds, and designing the face in groups of four/five. Wear old clothes that day! It’s that time again! The PTO will be holding a fall contest starting Oct. 2nd and will run through Oct. 23rd. Please start collecting and send in your non-expired BOXTOPS. If our class collects the most, we can win a pizza party! This is a great way to help our school. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who came on the field trip. It was one of our best trips ever! Also thank you to all of you who sent in apples. This week we made applesauce and apple muffins. The kids really enjoyed them! Spelling Words big for to do as are Please remember to practice the words from your child’s list EVERY night!
