Objective Understand the impact the automobile industry had on Michigan. Understand the early inventors who impacted the automobile industry.

Tasks 1. Read the handout titled “The Coming of the Automobile”. 2. Answer the questions regarding the handout in your cooperative group. 3. Successfully take the quiz tomorrow!

Roles 1. Reader = reads the questions out loud to your group Recorder = Keeps the official copy of the answers for the group—turns in before the quiz. Resource Person = gathers materials that are needed for the group activity

Goal Complete the assigned roles. Complete the assigned activity as a cooperative group. Successfully score 8 out of 10 on the quiz!

REWARD!!!! If everyone in your group successfully takes the quiz and scores at least 8 out of 10, each member of the group earns a FREE HOMEWORK PASS.

Disqualification… Not performing your role in your group Not being respectful of people doing their job ex. Listen to the reader! Along for a “free ride”… Keeping others from doing their work, off-task, “visiting” other groups…..
