Word Workshop Use all of the words CORRECTLY in a sentence. Write this on separate paper to turn in. 1. right 5. they’re 2. write 6. affect 3. there 7. effect 4. their 8. pessimist

Warm-Up: Problem What do you think is the biggest problem America has right now? How is it affecting our lives? Why is it more important than other problems? (Half-page)

Dystopia Project Identify one problem with modern life. Create a fictional world that exaggerates that problem into a Dystopia. Create a digital presentation (NOT a powerpoint) to share your Dystopia with the class.

Dystopia Project - Today’s Work Form a group of 3-4 people. Decide what problem you will focus on for your dystopia. Fill out the top of EVERYONE’S worksheet with group names and problem. Highlight your name. Show completed worksheet to receive a computer for research.

Exit Ticket Write down WORKING email addresses for all of your group mates beneath your warm-up. Record the information for yourself, too (phone, planner, etc.)

Homework Homework: Create a Google document shared with ALL of your groupmates, and also with gillette.lunsford@gmail.com. All group members must write “Hello!” on the Google Doc comments.
