World Bank IB HL

The World Bank Also known as the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD). Established in 1947 to provide aid to poor countries in terms of loans and technical assistance. It used to provide loads for capital projects, such as infrastructure developments, but from 1980 onwards it provided help for debt repayment.
