Scientific Question My scientific question is, which brand/type of toothbrush will complete the race the fastest

Background I chose this project because I was looking at ideas and I saw this one. Also I am getting tired of having a dirty floor, so I thought maybe these bots could clean for me. And if they can which one is the best cleaning, and or fastest.that is my background

Hypothesis I hypothesize that if I use slanted bristles then they will work the best and go the fastest.I think this because they have the advantage that they hold more weight at the front so they lean forward and therefore go faster.

Variables Independent-toothbrushes Dependent-Speed (Time track is completed by each bot) Constants-The track, Batteries, And motor

Procedures make bots make track race bots record data repeat racing(as many as you want) Make graph

Creating A Track First find a piece of cardboard and straighten it out Glue popsicle sticks into straight lines to separate the raceways AND GO!

Building The Bots First cut the toothbrush with a pair of plyers or bolt a bolt cutter. connect your stuff (watch battery, and vibrator) AND RACE!

Data Bot 1 Bot 2 Times 10 Seconds 5 seconds 7 seconds 6 seconds

Data

Conclusion I conclude that this project went good. I had to modify my project because the motor I had use was larger than I needed for the toothbrush.(So I used a foot scrubber).Next time I will be more prepared.
