Aim: How do we divide fractions? October 17, 2012 Aim: How do we divide fractions? Do-Now: 1. What is the S.O.S. method for multiplying fractions? (Use the notes from yesterday.) 2. Give an example with the steps of the S.O.S. method.

To Divide Fractions: Rewrite the first fraction. (SHAPE: whole to fraction/ mixed # to improper) Change the division sign to a multiplication sign. Flip the second fraction upside down. Multiply.
