The battle between Poppy and Mr.Ocax. Poppy plot line Poppy and Ragweed went to Bannock Hill to dance. Mr.Ocax killed Ragweed, but just missed Poppy when they were on Bannock Hill. When Poppy came back from Bannock Hill there was an emergency meeting being held, because there wasn’t there wasn’t enough food to feed the family. Poppy and Lungwort were going to Mr.Ocaxe’s watching tree to see if they could move to New House, but Mr.Ocax said, “no.” Poppy was going to New House to see if Mr.Ocax is hiding something and if there enough food for her family. On her way she met Ereth, Poppy told Ereth she would get Ereth the salt lick if Ereth showed her the way to New House. The battle between Poppy and Mr.Ocax. Ereth just got the salt lick he had been waiting for from Poppy. Poppy just killed Mr.Ocax. Poppy returns to her home safely. Poppy’s family moved to New House

Some characters to know Poppy Poppy is nice, courageous, and brave. Mr. Ocax He is mean, the ‘’ruler’’ of Dimwood forest, and is an illusionist. Lungwort Lungwort mostly acts like a smart alec. Sweet Cicely Sweet Cicely is sweet and helpful in any manner. Ragweed Ragweed is very careless, brave, and smart.

Theme and Evidence Theme: Evidence: I think the theme is freedom is worth fighting for Evidence: At first Poppy couldn’t dance freely Poppy battled Mr. Ocax and killed him Since Mr. Ocax is dead, all the mice and Poppy can dance freely

Conflicts and Resolutions The mice didn’t have enough food, Poppy killed Mr. Ocax so they can move to New House and get food. The mice were not free to go to certain territories and places After Poppy killing Mr. Ocax they could move freely without worrying of getting eaten. All the mice were upset at Poppy because Poppy and Ragweed didn’t ask permission to go to Bannock Hill. Poppy went to New House and came back home to tell everyone that could move to New House

My Reflection on the book I Liked the book a lot because it is really interesting and adventurous. One thing that will make the book better is if they would have made a mouse army with Ereth’s fallen out quills. Other than that I would recommend this book to anyone I know because it is way better than five stars
