Introduction An Iditarod is a trail sled dog race that due to the weather this year the Mushers had to do a different route, all the information we got from was from www.Iditarod.com

Musher Marcelle Fressineau is my musher. Her bib number was 25 . Her hometown is Whitehorse, YT, CANADA . Her Website is http://marcelle-fressineau.com . She was born in Switzerland and She is 60 years old.

Dogs She started with 16 dogs. The dogs wear booties. The dogs are huskies.

Routes and checkpoints There are 17 checkpoints this year. The whole race is 1,045 miles . The race ends in Nome, Alaska. The race this year started in a different checkpoint because the route that they usually take did not have enough snow .
