He dipped, pivoted, and swung around me like he was going up for an easy layup. epic – (adj.) spectacular, very impressive, awesome I would go on these epic runs all around town vaguely – (adv.) not clear or recognizable by sight or any other sense. He was vaguely familiar, but I couldn’t place him. pummeling – (verb) to strike repeatedly with fists He was pummeling the guy. commuter – (adj) referring to people who travel to work long distances from the suburbs to the city’s downtown.
