Yerkes-Dodson Model on Physical Arousal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toDOp7pgkFY

Physical Arousal Novelty: In the gang, there is an expectation of finding a ghost or monster, but in the end finding something different. Uncertainty: There is a level of this within the gang as to who the masked monster will be when the perpetrator is revealed. Conflict: The gang reacts differently to some stimuli. Complexity: Each member has their own distinguishable elements.

Socio-Emotional Socio-emotional is a process that consists of variations that occur in an individuals personality, emotions, and relationships with others during ones lifetime (Santrock, 2007). The gang devotes their time and energy to supporting the emotional needs of their team members and help maintain the team as a social unit. Fred: The leader and plan maker. Daphne: The oblivious one who relies on Fred. Velma: The intellectual that analyzes the situation, leaving the others to rely on her “expertise” or “knowledge”. Shaggy and Scooby: Grunt work that needs to be done because no one else wants to do it. Shaggy and Scooby’s behaviors rely on each others reactions.
