The 5 Kingdoms

The Plantae Kingdom. They all use photosynthesis. They all have stems and petals. They are all green. They take in energy from the sun and nutrients around them. They break into smaller groups and here’s some example's: Mosses, ferns, watering plants. The roots of the flower make the food for the rest of the plant to stay alive. All green plants have flowers. Stems hold up the plant to obtain sunlight. The leaves exchange gasses with surroundings.

The Animalia Kingdom They have backbones. They have tongues. They all advance through the process of evaluation. They are separated in groups by… Vertebrates and Invertebrates. Invertebrates do not have backbones. Some have fur and some don’t.

The Protista Kingdom. Most reproduce by splitting in two. They are separated in groups by… Algae, protozoan's, protozoa. Most protista is microscopic size.

The Fungi Kingdom. Fungi live anywhere in the air, in the water, on land, in soil, and in and on plants and animals. The groups are Parasitic, Heterotrophs, Saprophytic. There are 40,000 types of fungi around the world.

The Monera Kingdom. Absorb nutrients from outside their bodies. Bacteria is the group. Some monera can cause diseases.
