The Earth System Earth is a system, that means it has parts that all work together as a group or whole

Earth’s Spheres This system is made up of four main spheres , atmosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, cryosphere, and biosphere.

Water and Rock Cycles In the water cycle water evaporates from the ocean then it goes up into the atmosphere and falls back to Earth. For evaporation to happen you need heat Earth also a rock cycle as a system Magma is hot molten material that flows that flows through cracks in the crust that cools and forms solid rock

What Are They ? / Vocabulary Biosphere is all living organisms on Earth Hydrosphere is all of Earth’s water and the cryosphere is a frozen component of the hydrosphere so it is like ice frozen water. Geosphere is Earth’s mass in the form of rock or metal. Atmosphere “the relatively thin envelope of gases that form Earth’s outermost layer”

Positive and Negative Feedback Negative Feedback: causes a process to slow down , or go in reverse. Positive Feedback: they reinforce, speed up, or enhance the process that’s already underway.
