Here are some quick facts: · The PSAT is a pre-SAT assessment that consists of three sections – critical reading, mathematical reasoning, and writing skills. This test is a great way to practice taking college entrance exams! · Taking the test is the way students would enter the National Merit Scholarship Corporation Competition – various scholarships and recognitions may result based on test scores · The test is “opt-in”, and there is only room for 150 students to take the exam · Test date: Oct. 15th @ 8:00 am in the Cafeteria (this is a national test date and cannot be moved) · Cost: $20.00 · Sign up and pay in the Counseling Office by Friday, Oct.10th at 3:30 pm
