For icis Video Clubbers How to put a video on For icis Video Clubbers This is for 5th graders enrolled in Indian Creek Schools that are members of Video Club (formerly ICIS News). Requirements for other 5th grade students may differ.

Create video Scripting and Filming should take place first. On Chromebooks you might use Youtube editor or WeVideo. Although many other editors exist, video clubbers will have access to these two editors using their Chromebooks. Editing should take place during video club hours. Do not move past this slide if you have not completed these two steps.

Sign into Youtube.com Use NHJ school account to sign into Youtube. Upload using “Upload” button or through “Video Manager” Sign in using your credentials “Student@indiancreekschools.com” Fastest way to upload a video is to use the grey arrow shown above.

Upload process Have video readily available in Google Drive/Desktop Upload or Drag and Drop video into selected area Your videos should be saved in your Google Drive. If using Youtube Editor, this step may look different. Contact an instructor for additional help.

Video Club Permission Rules All videos should be set to “Unlisted” Title should be aligned with the purpose of the video and appropriate There are many steps on this slide. Sharing with instructors Use School email to share link with a Video Club instructor Instructor will post video on Video Club Weebly account For a more detailed look, watch the movie Attached Copy and paste the URL in an email and send to an instructor. That is currently Miss King. Do not send it to any other teacher, family member or student. Video must be linked to the website first. Failure to follow this direction would result in a first warning as defined by the Video Club contract.
