It is important to help out people in our community. VS. Society Antagonist Conflict: Internal: Man vs. Self: Roger looks at the door, looks at the sink, looks at the door, and walks to the sink. External: Man vs. Man: Roger tries to steal Mrs. Jones’ purse. Mrs. Jones picks Roger up by the shirt front and shakes him. Man vs. Nature: Man vs. Society: Roger has a difficult home life. Roger is poor and wants for things he sees that others have.

She gives Roger ten dollars. Climax Mrs. Jones drags Roger to the apartment. Roger washes his face, eats dinner and talks to Mrs. Jones. Mrs. Jones learns that Roger begins to want Mrs. Jones to trust him. Rising Action Falling Action Mrs. Jones reminds Roger that stealing is wrong and to behave. She tells Roger she needs to rest. Exposition Resolution 11:00 PM-out on the street Boy tries to steal Mrs. Jone’s Purse Mrs. Jones stands up to Roger. Roger is unsure of what else to say except, “Thank you”, as Mrs. Jones turns away.
