Work Session Today you will break up into six groups, one for each character. The characters are: Iago, Brabantio, Roderigo, Othello, Desdemona, and Cassio.

1. Find a character's paper hanging around the room and stand by it (one group per character). 2. On the paper, each group will have (10) minutes to list things about that character. Characteristics, events, background, relationships, criticisms, traits, etc. **Try and include textual evidence as much as possible! List the scene and line number. 3. After the (10) minutes are up, have the students rotate to the next poster. 4. Do this until every group has gone to every poster.
