As a result, the U.S. started Daylight Savings Time and has been using it ever since. Food Administration: All rationing during WWI was voluntary (unlike WWII). War Labor Industries Board: Group in charge of all war-related production of supplies. Converted many factories into war-production factories.
Need Number Six: Paying for the War Liberty Bonds: nickname for savings bond during the war.
Need Number Seven: Keeping Industry in Line War Labor Relations Board: this organization was set up to prevent strikes during the war. They gave workers more rights and higher pay…as a result there was a lot of labor stability and little threat of striking during the war.
