Tuesday April 18, 2017 Before the iPhone and the iPad there was the Apple II personal computer. Designed by Steve Wozniak, with help from fellow co-founder Steve Jobs, the 8bit system revolutionized the home computer market. The system came with a key board and color monitor. Most PCs did not include these addons at the time. The cheapest Apple II model cost a round $1,300. It made it's debut at a technology fare on April 16, 1977. The Company continued producing the line until 1993. Over 5 million units were sold making it Apples' first breakthrough product.

The Book Thief Turn to page 175. We’re going to read to page 186. As we read: A lot of the questions on your reading guide for today involve symbolism, or the hidden meaning behind things. As we read, keep in mind any actions that seem strange to you – there might be a deeper meaning to them! 

Goals for Today… Text Comprehension/Analysis Questions: After reading, respond to the questions on the front of your handout. Be sure to explain your responses fully and provide supporting textual evidence if necessary. Reading: If you finish your analysis questions early, you may want to get started on your reading assignment for tomorrow – pages 187-201. 
