CHIMERE Workshop 2005 Lyon - Grenoble Lyon : at the junction of the Rhone and Saone Rivers relatively flat topography (z<500 m ASL) Grenoble : located in a Y-shaped convergence of three deep valleys with surrounding mountains as high as 3000 m ASL mountainous region & complex topography

CHIMERE Workshop 2005 Lyon operational O 3 & NO 2 hourly prevision Relatively flat topography old CHIMERE version (V2001) backward trajectories, flat terrain homogeneous horizontal meteorology Windows and linux OS 160 km x 120 km centered on Lyon horizontal resolution : 4 x 4 km² LYON
